Creative Bond presents, REDACTED: an erasure poetry workshop with Naomi Brenman. Erasure poetry is a form of found poetry. We will read and discuss a couple examples, then take pre-existing texts and blackout all the words except those in the new poem. It’s a kind of backwards process that invites looseness and mistakes! This workshop is for those with or without poetry experience, though a desire to experiment boldly and read some poetry is expected. Snacks provided! Bring a text to redact.
